I was born in 1980 and I live in Belgium.

I didn't go to art school, so I'm completely selftaught. For learning, I go to museums and to exhibitions.

I was introduced to art by my grandfather. He was a great ceramist who worked with Roger Somville. He has won several international biennials. I've always been impressed by what he could do with a pen on a simple piece of paper.

In my childhood, I saw his work and he told me about Picasso, Dali and many others.

Today, painting allows me to express myself without words.  I can express what I think but also what I am not aware of. I read lots of books about history and fantastic literature and I have studied psychology, so the human mind and the literature are at the center of my work.

I appreciate artists like Mark Rothko, Francis Bacon and Terry Winters, ...

The most important thing to me is the emotions we feel in front of a canvas.
